    Do we have the time-based partitioning cube option in TM1 as similar to Transformer. I have a table with 360 million records (fact_revenue). I would like to create MULTIPLE REVENUE MONTH CUBES. what is the approach for this? Architect or Cognos Insight was not able to handle the load. Could you please help me on this?

    Hi All,
    how to login tm1 application web with mutliple sessions and multiple servers in IE 10 Browser,as i am getting logout automatically for other sessions.

    how to set the cookies to solve the problem automatically?

  6. Please note that I need your expert advice.

    I just created new parameters for a client, company structure, account structure, form structure, building up my balance sheet and P&L format, defining layouts and also imported the data on the client’s Excel Environment to Cognos where I got a message saying ““All xxx values were successfully exported and the data has been saved”.

    But when am going in Group/Reports/Trial Balance Drill Down, when its asking me to select the Group, nothing is appearing and its stating “Group Missing”- how can that be according to you? I checked my group structure and also verified the company structure and no error message found.

    Am a bit lost as until this is resolved, am not able to either extract my TrialBalance, nor generate my Consolidated BSheet and P&L.

    Can you guide me and assist me thru’ this please.

    Thanks in advance for all your efforts and time.

    Look forward to hear from you soon.

    Warm regards

    It doesn’t appear in the TM1 documentation but, to get values in a cube to align in an accounting style, with negative numbers aligned correctly, you can use this custom Excel format:

    #,##0_);(#,##0);-_);

    It works fine in TM1.

    I have been working on trying to move data from TM1 to a SQL server database. The process runs successfully, however the only data that shows up in the SQL table are numerics. I cannot get any string data to show up in the SQL table. Here is a look at my Advanced Data Tab.

    IF(Appian_m @=’Region Code’);

    ODBCOutput(DSN, ‘INSERT INTO dbo.EV_APPIAN ([dimension_1_number], [exportvalue_region]) VALUES ( ”’ | APC_Line | ”’ , ”’ | Value | ”’ ) ‘ );

    ENDIF;

    The only thing I can think of is there must be an issue with the syntax. It is only a 2 dimensional cube and there is no numeric data in the measure dimension. Please provide any knowledge you might have on this issue or topic. Thanks.
